The brief
To design and develop a suite of animated HTML5 banners in various formats.
Key software and technologies:
QuickTime, Photoshop, Google Web Designer (HTML5), JavaScript, and CSS.
The process
Apart from a few brand assets (logo, font, colours), the creation of the animations relied on extracting static frames from a video of the campaign. This involved editing the video to as few frames as possible (for file-size considerations), extracting the stills, and animating each frame in HTML5, while retaining the look of the video.
